My new kitten has been experiencing a bit of a problem lately in her hindquarters area. She has been emitting a foul smelling odour, oh...let's just call it what it is...gas. It is unpleasant and I am perplexed as to how to remedy this.  
 
She is eating her kitten food and drinking normally and using the potty regularly. Could this simply be stress to the new environment? Anyone else with a similar tale (no pun intended)? I am taking her back to the clinic for her second round of shots in three weeks and will ask them but thought I would see if anyone can suggest something in the interim.  
 
I have been keeping the television volume to a low level, playing some calming music in the evenings and have not been feeding her any table scraps. Hopefully this is just a bad case of nerves.
