Purple Poodel

ok in the paper there was a purple poodle. yes dyed to advertise a new buisness... I think it is uber DORKY to give your pet a dye job... am I being weird here? Does anyone agree with me?
Now I don't know much about dog fur dye, but would the dog just not lick themselves in a tangent becasue the smell of the chemical on them and potentially lick bald spots?
This is beyond a t shirt for a dog!
