Strange things our Pets do.....

I am the proud owner of two Jack Russell Terriers. Not a day goes by without something happening and I find them quite entertaining.
One problem, they like to roll on worms!! Yep!! They sniff the ground until they come on a worm that is just on the top of the soil and they pull on it until it pulls free. Then they drop it and roll on it. I am forever washing worm guts off my dogs.
For the life of me I can't understand why they do this.
Anyone got any ideas???
