So we are expecting and have an almost 8 month old golden retriever/lab cross. We've had some mountains and some valleys with this pup let me tell you. One of my biggest concerns is that our puppy today when a little 3 year old and her mom came over- our puppy was sooo excitable that I couldnt control her - and the child was scared. I mean she just gets the tail wagging and darts towards the person. This isnt just with children, if our doorbell rings or someone comes over- she is sooo hyper at meeting a new person that she is at times unmanageable. I am concerned she will be difficult when the baby comes in a couple months, any advice? Have any of you gotten over this stage of excitement-?
