We are in need of a new vacuum, we have pets as well. Any suggestions?

is my choice - awesome suction all the time.

We have owned over the years - Electrolux, Filter Queen, Bissel, a Sears brand and a few others I am not sure of, but I would never part with my Dyson - have had it for over 4 years and it works as good as the day I bought it. We have a cat.

I've been using mine every other day for nearly 8 years in a house with dogs and kids. It hasn't lost suction ever! I rinse the filter once every few months and it's still going strong. Highly recommend a Dyson. If something ever happened to it I would replace it no question

love my dyson pet vac. I only have carpet in my 2 bedrooms but that thing pulls up hair and powder (assuming its dander). Plus its great in hardwood and furniture too. Im hooked!

Oh and it even has a pet attachment to vacuum them, although I don't recommend it for cats. lol

grabbed a Bissell clearview plus when it was on sale. couldn't be happier for the price. picks up all the dog hair and is super strong suction. says its stronger than dyson right on the vacuum lol.

100% dyson.

I have one and i love it. Its powerful and easy to clean, plus they have a variety of models to choose from, from the stand up one to a more compact version you can hide away

Wife loves her dyson. Wouldn't get anything but.

That shark vacuum that gets similar reviews to a dyson I feel like the people saying it is as good as a dyson aren't willing to shell out the bucks and tell themselves it is as good. Seen a shark used at a friends place and it doesn't suck hair out of the carpet like our dyson does

Not sure the model, but the purple Dyson is the best for pets~ Love the accessories and it is worth the money.

If you have pets they say a vacuum with a bag is better than the bagless canister type...not sure why but I find that type works better for me. I have been happy with my Panasonic vacuum most of all the ones I have bought...mind you haven't tried a Dyson! Also one with a hepa filter is good if you have pets.
