Just wanted people to be aware of the heartless scum living in Brandon. Hopefully someone has some information on the sick piece of S*** responsible for this disgusting act of cruelty

I'm not n FB but want to know. Are they up for adoption? What kind are they? Wouldn't be an orange tabby would there?

Adopting a cat from the pound is super cheap (pretty sure it's less then $50), and please don't bash me for this but a heck of a lot easier then FFFF or the humane society. You just go in and pick the one you want and voila you have a kitty. Please always check the pound, they have a 72 hour hold period, and then as new cats are brought in the older/less friendly/"non adoptable" cats are euthanized, at least at the humane society and FFFF they're safe. You can get either a precent or the whole spay/neuter paid for through there SNIP program for lower income family's plus your directly saving a life, if you don't adopt it, chances are it's going to be euthanized. Rescues are full and aren't able to take on anymore cats.

To the person who did this, or anyone who might feel the same, is reading this... I understand that the kill free agencies often have limits of how many animals they can afford to take in. So, if you are at the point of desperation and are even considering such a thing, please take them to pound. At the very least, if not adopted out or referred to another agency, they will be granted a painless death. Those kittens and mother could have died a slow painful death from the heat, and/or have been crushed in the garbage truck (possibly living for hours in mortifying pain as they died).  
To everyone, SPAY & NEUTER your pets to avoid adding to the overpopulation of animals.  
I am enormously saddened and sickened that these animals were treated this way...  

was $5.25 for each of the kittens I adopted a few years ago. BUT then you have to add a vet visit, tests and shots. Deworming and any other parasites such as ticks or mites. Then you also will need to bring them back at 6 months old to have them fixed. So yes, while it is relatively easy and cheap to adopt a pet from the pound the other organizations include those costs in their adoption fee, so IM sure it all works out the same. Although the pound gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you saved a life!

If adopting from the pound you get a discount on spay/neuter (you can even get it free if you qualify!). And I'm not sure how much shots are for a cat, I've only had dogs, but even then the first shots are only $50 for the visit at $20 or so for the shots... If you get a kitten from the humane society at 8 weeks, you pay $250 (?) but then still have to pay for the other boosters out of pocket (the neuter is included at 6 months though) anyways, I'm not arguing or anything, but you can get the same benefits at the pound as the humane society, as long as your not adopting an overly sick animals that's going to take hundreds of dollars (then the $250 adoption fee is obviously so much cheaper!)
