Help, cat pee smell in carpet

We have tried shampooing the carpet, baking soda, fee breeze, any other suggestions to get the smell of cat pee out of our carpet???

Mix a paste of baking soda and vinegar spread it on the area kind of scrubbing than vacuum up.

Go to a pet store and pick up Nature's Miracle. Helps a lot and worth having on hand.

I sell an enzyme based carpet cleaner through my home based business and it worked great on the cat pee stains in my carpet. Let me know if you're interested.

Natures Miracle really works. Otherwise I pour straight vinegar on the area and blot it up with a towel. Repeat if needed.

Natures Miracle hands down! You can get it at Pet Lovers Wearhouse or Pet Valu. There are different varieties of it too. It takes the smell right out! It also works well for pet puke stains as well.

experienced a renter with cats and after spending close to $5000.00 on the unit I will say..... tear up the carpet and possibly the sub floor because that smell will never go away no matter what somebody tries to sell you!!!!

an old cat when years later when we pulled up the carpet found she had peed in a few spots but we never noticed a smell. It did slightly damage the hardwood underneath but it was easily buffed out. Are you sure it is pee or has your animal sprayed? I think that can be more problematic.
