Recently one of my bunnies got sick. We couldnt get in to see our regular vet so we opted to see another. Anyways since doing this i really regret it because she is having more problems then when she went in in the first place. Curious to know what anyone elses experiences with local vets and if thete are any reccomendations. I dont feel comfortable going back to the same vet because of problems rabbit is having now. I feel as though i should t have to pay for 2 exams in less then a week at the same place. I would go to our vet but she is on holidays this week and the earliest we can get in there is thursday for an appointment and i dont know if she has that long with the way things are looking now.

What seems to be the issue with your rabbit, and how long has it been going on, and what did the vet, say/do/recommend?

First was that she had an infection on her neck. She was given antibiotics and i brought her home. We did a few doses of the antibiotic and then she stopped eating her pellets and refuses to drink water. I have tried both bottle and bowl she wont drink. She is eating her fresh veggies but hardly any hay. I called the vet sat and was told to take her off the antibiotic. So we did that. She still wont eat her pellets and hardly any hay but still eating fresh veggies. Called vet again today and was told to try critical care to get the stuff she needs into her. So we tried this and it does not matter how i mix it or how i try to feed it to her she refuses. I even tried with a syringe and she wont swollow it. Just spits it out. I have been making sure to wet her veggies down so shes getting some water in but hardly any
