I have 2 cats and a dog. When I brought my 2nd kitten home she was spraying all over too....she even sprayed me in the FACE when I was sleeping I bed once! But we didn't try to give her away. We took her to the vet to see what was wrong, turns out because of the other cat's scent, she was trying to mark some stuff for her own...including me! I immediately got her spayed and the problem stopped. My neighbours cat was also spraying and it had an infection and associated the litter box with pain and wouldn't use it, a quick trip to the vet and some cheap antibiotics fixed the problem. You don't deserve a pet, you are not a responsible owner, otherwise you would take the kitty to the vet. You can also buy a spray called "Felloway" or something like that, it will help the cat relax in it's new environment and keep it from spraying. (Being sarcastic here)...so ya, put the poor kitty down, it was just trying to find a spot in the home where he belongs....and when your roommate gets sick...put her/him down also...it seems easier to just KILL things than love and care for them. Give me your cat, I will foster it until I can find a home for it...or contact BALA (Brandon and Area Lost Animals), they will come rescue that poor cat from you and find it a home, because you don't seem to acknowledge the posts saying they will take the cat....but I mean kill it...that's better (more sarcasm here)...I could just be sick, knowing that poor kitty is suffering in your hands...I hope you never have kids either...cause they pee and poo everywhere also and you can't "put a child down"...I am so upset right now, I had better quit writing or I may say something I might later regret. BUT I will take the cat if you like, send me a pm and I will come pick it up right away....tonight.

Like so many others. First is the cat fixed? If yes then next step is taking it to the vet.

" I love it.   Unfortunately, there's no point in worrying about an infection, as we haven't been able to find a home for her - we'll unfortunately be putting her down. It sucks, but that's life, and it seems like, this year especially, cats are disposable.   My main thing right now is that I've been smelling cat pee everywhere I go, and it's usually in my head - it's driving me nuts! I'll have to do what some other posters suggested and just try to clean it up as best as I can. Worst case scenario, the couch and chair go to the dump - they were free, anyway! you are putting the cat down?? how sad and pathetic. never ever get a cat again, please.

Where is the cat going to be taken?! My cat peed on walls all the time but we never gave up on trying to get her to stop and never considered giving her up. My cat has stopped peeing now because we moved her out of a stressful environment. So it could be a health issue, take the cat to the doctor before you give her up. Never give up on an animal because they can't communicate with you to tell you that something is wrong, so they show it.  
 
Please let me know where the cat is going.

Have you contacted anyone that is willing to take your cat?  
 
I have seen that at least 2 people have offered to take the cat. Please PM them and get further information. I know this shouldn't be your problem but because your roommate doesn't seem to care to get the cat looked at you are the one dealing with all of this.  
 
I do hope that you get in contact with the people willing to foster this cat. Sometimes all it is is just taking the cat out of a stressful environment. I would even suggest taking the cat to one of your parents houses (again I know it's not technically your problem but anything helps), and waiting to see if the cat pees there too. It can be stress or it could be a medical condition but I feel like you need to talk to your roommate and tell her to take her cat to the vet like a pet owner should do.

Find your attitude atrotious. And i never said anything towards you until not but you said a lot of things to contradict yourself. Cats arnt desposible. And i get its not your cat but coming on here and being a snot to everyone who makes a comment thats not to your liking is ridiculous. If you didnt want other peoples opinons then perhaps ypu shouldnt be calling them desposible, not your problem, and perhaps actually answer the peoples questions. We were just trying to get a feel for the situation. How do you know the cat is healthy if your roommate wont take it to the vet? You are all over the map and we are not getting the full story. People will get angry jumping to conclusions. You said cats are disposable. That comment itself warrents so many negative comments. So perhaps before ripping everyones heads of maybe you should be thinking about all youve said.
