Looking to buy a sofa but I have dogs. Leather or linen or ?? Some say microfiber but it attracts hair? Any advice is appreciated

Definitely leather, we had microfibre and the dog hair stuck to it.

I'm tempted to buy microfiber because they're comfortable but not easy to clean. I heard leather (real or bonded) is your best pick but I haven't found a comfy one ..... Anyone know what store to go to?

On the pet, cats nothing maybe safe. Dogs fabric might be better as leather/ pleather scratches up. Plus personal comfort if your a cold person you won't want pleather either. Fabric like micro fiver you scotch guard it and lint rollers are great. And maybe a little spot cleaner.

I own 2 cats and 2 dogs  
Couch and love seat is over 7 years old.  
Hair doesn't get imbedded into the fabric, it just sits on top. Just wipe off or vacuum up.  
Yes microfibre is easy to clean. You just have to do it properly.  
Any spills or stains just wipe away. Everything from slobber, red wine and blood.  
All I use is warm water and a touch of laundry soap.  
You can't just wipe a spot you have to wipe the whole area, this prevents water stains.  
I agree with the others that leather is easier. But my dogs are over 100 lbs. And their weight caused the claws to puncture holes in my old leather couch. Only get leather if you have a small dog.

Our dog is 80 lbs, and sheds. All our furniture is leather, she sleeps on it everyday for the last 8 years and not a mark on any of it. Easy to clean.

Just have to ensure that it is the right grade of leather. My friend bought a leather sofa/love over 2 years ago and has 2 dogs over 40 lbs. After 6 months, there wasn't a mark on them so I bought the same set and have had them for over a year - have young larger dogs and they jump up on them to play. I'm surprised that there are no scratches or holes. Purchased at Leon's and comfort was also important. I'm very happy with the set, easy to clean too.

We have a little 10 lb dog and he sometimes thinks he has to scratch before he lays down. Unfortunately we didn't catch him and it scratched the crap out of it. I would never by leather again.

bonded leather couches are easy to clean but definitely uncomfortable. i use a blanket. i would say linen or microfiber because you want to sit and be comfortable. if you have a big budget, buy REAL leather ... buy a vacuum or lint rollers?? good luck
