For those of you that insist on dragging your dog everywhere you go could you please refrain from using the playground area at Sporty's as your dogs doo doo and pee pee dumping ground?? There's no reason all the children that like to use their little area should have to play in that.Your dog can do its business on YOUR lot. Thank you.

Thanks for being such a negative person! I'll make sure to take my dogs there now to use it as their toilet! It's public, I can. I always pick up poo, I will encourage extra pee tho. Maybe dog owners don't like snotty nosed kids whining, but who would come here to cry about it? Do find a new hobby soon.

It's to bad you don't know where they live you could scoop up the poo in a bag set on there stoop, set the bag on fire, ring the doorbell take off , they come out stomping out the fire & get poo on their shoe or put it in their mailbox maybe they will get the message .

On the issue of dog poo at the playground, every time I take my kids to the if you want to call it a playground at Sportys, there always seems to be dog poo there. Sorry but the snotty nosed kids need somewhere to play. And Geez I think every second trailer has a dog there, I think they should limit it to one dog per camper. Just saying.

One child per camper. Nothing more annoying than young kids screaming and crying first thing in the morning. Then hearing the parents yell at them to be quiet because they have no control. I don't have kids, don't want kids, and love my dogs. Guess which one is better behaved. My dogs, or a lot of the kids?

Just change the word dog to spoiled, winey, and loud kids.

Why are you comparing kids to pets? Kids are our future your beloved dogs are not.

What I'm afraid of.

Dogs should not be walked at the playground at Sporty's! I don't know why this is an issue. The playground is for kids!! Go walk your dog at your beloved dog park. Where everybody with dogs prefers not to see kids!! If your in the playground your in the kids space. And vise versa for the dog park!! I wish people would get some comman sense.

I walk my dog all the time at Sporty's. I always pick up his poo. Some do not. I don't let him do his business at the playground, that's just common sense. There's a great area behind the boat parking instead.  
 
But there are dog haters around and Sporty's people should be careful. Last weekend, someone threw a lit cigarette at my dog in my own yard. He was tied up and supervised (I was doing dishes) and he started to bark in a strange way. That's when I came running outside and saw the lit cigarette under his nose. Watch out for the cranky ones folks.

Some of the banter on here is disturbing. Especially some of the replies, like the idiotic one from above. It's not even mildly funny, not to mention dangerous, seeing that seasonal lot owners do know where others live in the summer, like a neighbor 2 doors down or the lot one row over.  
 
In my opinion, take it up with the owner of Sportsman's Park at Clear Lake (aka Sporty's). Lots of folks have seasonal lots there that are from Brandon, but there are also many vacationers from all over the place.  
 
Unpicked up doggie doo in a small playground area or any place for that matter is not nice. It's a playground, not an exclusive dog park/playground.  
 
I am a responsible dog owner and do pick up the doo. I don't have a place there, but I'd be first asking the owners of the place to look into it before blasting it out on EB.  
 
Just my opinion in the name of common sense.
