I had to put my 14 year old cat down this week, he had terminal issues and was in a great deal of discomfort.  
 
I went to Grand Valley Animal clinic - specifically Dr. Jenn Beckwith and had such a positive experience. The admin staff were caring and sensitive, and Dr. Beckwith was kind, gentle, and reassuring. My cat felt no pain and was made to feel as comfortable as possible.  
 
I just want to put it out there, usually people only speak out about negative experiences. I felt very supported and received excellent care and service. And most importantly, my sweet Bo felt no pain or fear.  
 
Thanks to Grand Valley, to Dr. Beckwith, and the excellent admin staff.

you were treated like family?

When I had to put my pets down, the vets there were good to us as it should be on such emotional days. I have to add though, while the doctors are good, the reception there is a mixed bag every time I go there and I never know how I'll be greeted and treated. It's always seems to be a circus at the front desk. I'm actually thinking of switching clinics because I don't like spending money to receive "snippy".
