Recently we have rescued two orphan kittens and brought them home to our older cats. The eldest and youngest of the cats get along well with the kittens or ignore them but the third is a male who isn't adjusting very well. He will hiss and growl at them, run away and spend his day sleeping and eating little but mostly outside or asleep. Is there something we can do to help him adjust? I'm worried he might run away and we give him attention n everything I just need advice!

Also, please do not let your cats outdoors. As well as being against Brandon's bylaws, it is dangerous for the cat - it could get run over, poisoned, injured, treated badly, get in fights, etc.

Sakura may not live in Brandon. I don't and my cat is out all the time, she has a door to come and go as she pleases. Good on you Sakura for taking these babies in, sorry I can't offer a solution to your problem.

Some cats adjust better to new pets than others. This has upset the hierarchy of the group. seeing he is the one that is upset, he may perceive he is under threat. Your best bet is to integrate the kittens slowly. Keeping them separate from him and slowly bringing them together may work. Lots of advice on the internet about this and some YouTube videos as well.
