I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family. I really hope they catch the losers that did this. I was on Bala facebook page and there was another beautiful dog named buddy that was found dead in your area. I'm wondering if this was more than a terrible coincidence. Maybe someone should look into that one too and see if there is a connection?

I'm from the area and like most people from around here, we have a pretty good idea about who did this, but you can't just come out and accuse the individual. Hopefully they will get the person soon. My concern is that this persons violence will escalate to humans. I feel sorry for your loss and the other troubles you have had to deal with recently.

There are updates on the gofundme page. Looks to be doing well thank goodness.

If you are as disgusted as I am please remember this bill, it did not pass with the vote at the end of September this year this bill would require harsher punishments for crimes like this against our furry friends! oh this makes me so sick thinking of your furry family members. Glad Duke (hope I read correctly) is getting on his way to a loving life again. Hope the police catch this person(s) soon.
