Too many cats

Does anyone know where my MIL can take cats to? Relatives have been leaving cats with her. She can't afford to keep them all, and doesn't have the room either. I helped her get them spayed. Her landlord is complaining that there's too many. She's tried humane society, funds for furry friends, and a place in Neepawa. No one can take them.

Don't send them to the pound please

If the pound is full and if more come in that means
cats will be euthanized.

That's what she doesn't want to do. She's trying to find somewhere other than the pound. She's put up ads with no bites. :-(

is she letting all these relatives drop off their cats? If she lives in Brandon their is a by-law concerning how many cats you can have.

good luck getting homes for the cats, I hope you can find people to take them. I notice at pet stores they have bulletin boards, make a sign and put them on there. Put free ads on this site and Kijiji (always better if you have pictures).

......to 3 or 4 ads for cats on here but have only had one reply, nothing from the others.....I was looking for a 2 yr. cat that is already spayed/neutered for a companion for my 2 yr. old female cat but so far only one person has replied, said free cat but now they want $50 for it.....

Looking for cats

Hi there
I have been looking for a few fixed cats to have at my farm. Have contacted a few ebrandoners and got some replies and then nothing. Gave up !!!
I am wanting 3 outdoor fixed cats. They will be fed every day and have shelter in the winter. Have too many mice and gophers.
Can pick up in Bdn to the Hartney area.
