I saw the post that I've pasted below a few days ago. It breaks my heart that we have innocent animals being euthanized just because of human actions. If you can't commit to 10-15 years of being a parent to a fur-baby, then don't! They depend on you entirely. Don't let them wander, and make sure to get them fixed!
I went to the pound today and while they were closed, they want to see these cats saved so they let me come. I adopted a teenage cat that is so full of love and energy. She has already settled nicely in only 7 hours.
Please consider saving a life.
Here is the BALA post from Facebook:
==============================
URGENT!!!
Brandon Pound cat kennels are FULL.
==============================
If your cat is missing, go IMMEDIATELY to the pound to check. The next time Animal Control arrives with more found cats, they are forced to empty kennels. Your cat might be put to sleep, euthanized.
Go in person. Verbal des:criptions are NOT reliable.
If you have room in your heart & home for a kitty that desperately needs you, please go save a precious life. Funds for Furry Friends has "Save a Pound Cat" forms at the Brandon Pound for free spays & neuters.
*** Please keep your cats home, don't let them roam. If they go to the pound, their arrival will result in the death of another cat. ***
PLEASE SHARE!!!

Brandon Pound is located at Brandon Boarding Kennel, 66th St and Patricia Ave (3 miles WEST of 18th St and Patricia Ave)
BRANDON POUND HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 9 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 12 noon
Sunday & Stat Holidays: closed
(We understand that being blatantly honest has upset some people. However the last time we posted that the pound was full, cat owners did NOT rush to claim their cats and NO cats were adopted. Right now, we aren't worried about hurting feelings, those cats just need to go home ASAP.)
