It use to be that Bank Tellers when you were getting cash would count it out to you in a soft tone that wasn't heard all over the bank.  
 
I couldn't even count the number of times that I knew exactly how much cash someone just took out.  
 
Just today, The person beside me took out $4,000. You are entitled to take as much cash out as you want.  
 
But why is it broadcasted like that? Not just the teller but by the customer as well.  
 
It isn't safe. You don't know who is listening who might follow you out or send a message to someone outside that could be waiting to rob you.  
 
Please consider your safety in all these matters.

I like it when the teller is discreet. That’s a professional teller. If they are announcing it to the whole room they need some more training.

I’m not sure I’ve seen a bank security guard in Brandon.

Sad but the banks can barely be bothered to keep any branches open and if they do there are very few staff with any banking knowledge or skills left anymore. I don’t think that the banks give two hoots about providing security for customers. It’s all about the almighty shareholders now. They don’t want to know their customers anymore. We are just a cash cow for them.

I completely agree. However if anyone banks at the bank in the Town Center I wouldn't take out more then $20 at a time due to safety reasons, and there is security monitoring the mall at all times!  
I feel bad but I think bank tellers are going to be few and far between in the near future being one can do MOST things on line.

A couple of questions arise: One of those things that make you go hmmmmm.  
Wouldn't a security guard, walking a customer to their car, draw attention?  
Also, if a person is being escorted to their car by a security guard and the next person wants a security guard to escort them to their car, will that person want to wait 10 minutes til the security guard gets back or does the bank have a few security guards, so a customer doesn't have to wait?  
Maybe contact the actual bank and give them your suggestion about having security guards.
