So I am one of those 'lucky' people who has been laid off this year. In the past 9 months, I have applied for I-don't-know-how-many jobs, I've had about 10 interviews, and I've only had 1 job offer, which paid significantly less than what EI is paying me... needless to say, my Visa is getting worn out.  
 
Can anyone think of any ways to make a buck, or save a buck?  
 
I've had friends suggest selling old jewellery and my grad dress, but I've had no offers as of yet. I've also taken on a part time job that falls within EI's restrictions, and have started taking a closer look at second-hand clothes and dollar-store housewares.  
 
Does anyone have any other creative ways to get more money in the bank?
