So I got a couple months behind on my car loan. I am nearly caught up( a double payment this month and caught up) when I had a bailiff show up at my door wanting my wheels. I had no letter come and have had only calls from the bank when I initiated them. I called the bank and they took for ever to fix the issue but I'm wondering can they move like that without notice? No registered letter, no mean phone calls and I'm serous. I was even in there a couple weeks ago about a re-finance on my house and now this. Anyone have a similar issue and what turned out?

I'd just call you bank. They want your money, not your car. So if you pay them what your supposed to this month, and not miss anymore payments they'll probably let you keep your car.

Never had an issue before but got behind when I got sick this winter. I am so close to being caught up I couldn't believe this was happening! Seemed odd to me.

I know people that missed a lot of payments and the bank was always willing to work with them. I'd just tell your bank that you'll be caught up on such and such day, if you miss that payment though there not going to be happy. But I'm sure they'll work with you on it.
