    Yikes....when will our dollar stop falling? Almost close to 40 cent exchange today. It will take -40C to get me going south. I wonder how Minot and Grand Forks are being affected.

    Have some US money left over from last trip, don't go very often any more.  
    Wonder if this is a good time to cash it in or will it go much lower?

    Just my opinion and I've been wrong many times, but I think that we will see the Canadian dollar at lower levels than this, commodities seem to be still losing ground, energy sector still weak and the possibility of the fed raising rates this month will likely keep the Canadian dollar weak and the US dollar gaining strength against most currencies.

    Our dollar is always going up and down,  
    oil prices do make a difference (Alberta is suffering) I do believe we will bounce back once more as we seem to do everytime it drops.

    Was down to Minot the weekend before last and the parking lots were filled with Canadian shoppers it's still cheaper to travel as gas was around 65 cents with the exchange and most things are still cheaper although not as much but also the variety of things you cannot get in Canada still makes it worth while
