Can student claim previous year transit cost for this year tax return?

Just wondering if students who uses bus transit can carry over last year cost to this year and clam both years on this year tax return

I'm pretty sure you can. As long as you make sure not to claim the same year twice.

you would have to look it up or phone CRA but generally you can not carry forward expenses from the previous year, there are some exceptions and some ways you can carry forward the credits but you cant usually add them together

You can only claim what you paid for transit in 2015.

If you have unclaimed 2014 costs, you can file an adjustment to your 2014 return to include them by filing out a T1-ADJ or making a request through the My Account. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/changereturn/
