TFSA withdrawal help!!!

I'm needing to take money from my Tax Free Savings Account and do a withdrawal... I have no idea how to do this. I am with RBC, and I went to the bank, and the teller said I have to do it online....now me being so extremely computer illiterate, I can't for the life of me figure it out... Can someone please help me figure this out? Thanks

just phone the 1-800-769-2411 & tell them you want to withdraw money & put into your account - that's what I do - no problem

Log into your online banking - go to pay bills/transfer funds chose your tax free savings and transfer the funds to your chequing - done

Sign into the full website to do this, not so sure the option appears on the app. They will transfer the money the next workday once you have made the request.

I've tried doing it on the actual website, but it never gives me the option to transfer out of TFSA just my checking or savings... Am I missing something? Hmm..

Click on the TFSA and it will open another page, on the left side one of the lines says withdraw investments, click it and when that page opens it will be self explanatory.

To withdraw funds you need to click on your TFSA, then on left it should have "withdraw from"-it is NOT in "transfer funds". Also if you withdraw it all it will close the account

Having a teller behind the counter that could have done that for you? Did the banks not make enough money last year to be able to provide a human face that would/could help a real live customer in their bank? It's disappointing customer service. I am glad you figured it out.

call the 1 800 number.

I called and talked to a representative and it took all of a few minutes and the money was in my account the very next day!

Funny that you can't do it through a teller but can do it online. I'm with westoba and I can't transfer from my online I have to go to the teller.

..do online transfers from all your accounts including TFSA on Westobas online banking.
