Is there a free website to file your own taxes? Or any recommendations.

I used the H&R Block one, very easy to use

not sure if still available but studio tax software used to be free. just check it out

Used this for the past few years, free and easy

i found simple tax to be the best and easiest to follow if new to doing it online. imo

I believe Turbo Tax is only free if you have a basic return. If you have any "additional" inputs (IE: RRSP contributions)you have to upgrade to a paying version.  
 
As another poster noted, Simple Tax is a true FREE on line income tax program - regardless the complexity of your return.  
 
In addition, it offers Auto-fill. If you have set up a MY Account at the CRA site, Auto-fill fills in all your t-slip information (which the government already has). You then fill in other personal info such as Manitoba tax and property/rental credit, donations, medical expenses, etc.  
 
I used auto fill for the first time this year. Easy and cool.

I used the free one on H&R site.

I use turbo tax online. It's easy and you don't pay until you file. My husband and I did our returns and it only cost $32 to file
