    RBC/BNS/OTHER - Debt Consolidation

    Who would be the best to consult about debt consolidation? Credit rating is pretty good, just want one payment instead of multiple. Would be probably 4-5 yr term. Under $50k.  
     
    Is there anyone specific at your institution you would recommend who has YOUR best interest in mind?

    Otherwise a credit union rather than a bank, as credit unions usually have more flexible and forgiving options for a consolidation loan. Try Vanguard if you are in the Brandon area, or I've heard good things about Catalyst CU in Dauphin, too.

    Can help you out. I don't know about you, but I go to one of the big 5, and I can't get near the place without them trying to force an unwanted line of credit on me.

    if your credit is good i would not go to a debt consolidation place as i believe it will hurt your credit, instead go to your bank and ask them to do a consolidation loan, if you have been making payments fine then it shouldn't be an issue and you'll get the best interest rate
