Does anybody know what the heck is going on in this town with the constant changes in bus schedules? Who in their right mind shuts down service on lines to/from the mall at 6 pm? Sure, I’ve come to learn that the tax payers here really don’t matter.

that would of been bus 20 in old times now its industrial bus in very early mornings my daughter could take bus to school then to crocus If I want to get to mall I got to take bus 23 all the way downtown switch buses my daughter if took bus in winter has to catch bus 45 minutes early go downtown switch buses then still try make to school by 845 that not much time to get to class if they wanted to serve more west end get another bus in the city

Where is that saying bus service stops at 6pm?

Would that be the bus changes to every hour and that bus no longer leaves on the hour but half hour. I E 6:30.  
 
I think so many people get off at six the hour service should start 6:30.  
 
They cut the number of busses in use. So one route Vic east on one half hour then changes to west on the other. So one bus does both. Again they start this at 6 and I think it should be 6 30. All in all other than the 6 glitch it makes sense.

There are other tax payers here besides yourself. As one that doesn't use the transit service I could care less if it existed and I am a tax payer too. Why don't they raise the price of fees to a more self reliant costing which doesn't involve tax payer money.....but that wouldn't work as people would complain how much it cost to ride the bus and how poor they are. Transit tries to do the best they can with what they have. Why run busses so frequent when most of the time I see them with a handful of people only on them. Maybe the should use mini busses or something.

I think the O.P. is referring to route 16 which now ends at 6pm instead of midnight. It now operates hourly instead of 1/2 hourly.  
 
Route 16 had poor ridership after 6pm so they eliminated it after 6pm.  
 
Unfortunately some of route 16 covers a small area that no other buses cover but most of the route is covered with other bus routes. Walking further is the downside.  
 
Transit is extremely expensive to operate. With the provincial government cutting funding transit doesn't have many options other than to cut service that isn't used...don't blame transit, they are doing the best they can with what they have.

like used to be like bus 20route went from east all way to west for a person like me who has to rely on bus services with little income and not taking taxi way to costly
