So--they say work will start on it shortly. The "news" says they will take a looksee this week and if easily fixable they will. If not they will consider replacing it with a permanent rock dam. Good luck with that-- The Federal Fisheries may have a say. Ok the city said they would only consider it-- My thoughts
maybe the water control function of that dam is no longer needed so a rock dam may make the cut--but why did they need it in the 40's and not now--rocks are hard to move eh!
If water control is no longer needed-- well just leave it ingnore the coin wasted on the looksee and repairs!
My understanding of the current dam is it is adjustable re heights--who engineered that and is there other versions left?? Maybe they have a quick fix (the town /city that has one)
