Weighing A Baby

Where could one go to have a baby weighed weekly for a short time. Baby, an AU citizen needs to have her weight monitored while visiting here in Canada. She and the mother do not have MB Health so walk ins may not be an option.

Get an accurate household scale. Have mom weigh herself. Have mom weigh herself holding baby. Subtract. The number you are left with will be the baby's weight.

Yup , public health has one, just go to the desk the first time and they will show you where it is (right around the corner hallway), after you know where it is, you can just walk in ,let front desk know what your doing and go do it. I've done it plenty of times without any issue at all.

Baby Scale

Don’t use a normal home scale as it won’t show ounces. The baby scale at public health would be best.

If you put a belt around the baby and then use one of those weight scales you use for luggage that would work.

Yes, go to the Public Health office. That will be most accurate and safest.

You could try the nurses at the Brandon Clinic on the main floor. They are a great bunch
