Motorcycle safetied

Can anybody tell me of a reliable shop to get a scooter safetied in town. A friend of mine called Wheat city cycles and they told him they would do it but it's been there a week and a half and it hasn't been done yet. It seems to be more difficult than it should be to find a quality shop that does good work in town.
