Eliminate the middle person and call the Virden flower shop directly. You can tell them exactly what you want and they can advise you what they currently have in supply and you will have a pretty good idea then what the recipient of your flowers will be receiving. I find when you speak with the florist directly, you can say I would like to spend X amount of dollars and ask them if that is going to get a nice size arrangement or bouquet. An honest florist is going to tell you if you should increase/decrease your budget to get exactly what you are wishing to send.
As for Bloomex, I had never heard of them until this winter when my sister-in-law from out of province used the service to send me a get well package. I assume they have a variety of packages to choose from as I did not receive flowers in mine: I received food items - crackers, chocolate, cheese, etc., most of which I would say were European products. Everything was done up nicely in a basket with a printed card with the sender's name.
