On-Duty Firefighters Attend Farewell BBQ

It is really too bad that the Brandon Sun has nothing better to do than publish the article which appeared in Tuesday's paper quoting the function as a "party" when in actuality it was a "BBQ" farewell get together for a member who was leaving for 4 months for Afghanistan to serve as a medic. At no time do I feel that the citizens of Brandon were put at risk regarding response times should they have had a call while at the BBQ. I am interested to hear what other e-Brandon members have to say!
