Man Arrested for Public Mischief and Obstruction after lying to Police:
At approximately 10:47 p.m., Police attempted to stop a male riding a bicycle in the 1100 block of Pacific Avenue. The male suspect, a 23-year-old from Brandon, was eventually apprehended at which time he provided Police with a false name. He was eventually identified and found to be breaching the curfew condition on his Court Ordered Recognizance and was also the subject of an existing Warrant for his Arrest for Fail to Comply with a Recognizance. He was arrested and lodged at the Correctional Centre to appear in Court today.
