Can someone advise if I''m too late to donate books to this year''s Rotary Club Book Sale? I have checked their website for locations of drop-off bins, driven to each location and the bins appear to be gone from all locations. I have called the number listed on the site for large donations, hoping to get some information on whether I can still drop off my not-so-large donation, but have not received a call back. Thanks in advance for any information.

I noticed under merchandise wanted looking for books for fun raiser .

You can still donate. I see the drop off bins all over town.

The local Rotary Club website lists 5 businesses as bin locations and yesterday I checked all 5 and didn’t see a bin. I usually drop off at the bin at the Co-Op grocery store on Richmond but bin was not there. If there are bins located elsewhere, I would like to know the locations.

Is collecting books for a fundraiser for the Women's Resource Centre.

We are collecting books till sept 10th for a chili sale and book sale we are doing at the store - Victoria ave on sept 13. All money raised goes to the women’s resource Center in Brandon. We can pick up any donations or it can be dropped off at the store. Text 2045703575 to make arrangements.

I believe that they always take away bins before the sale and don’t put them back till after sometime.

the library down town has a book sale twice a year. the proceeds go to children's programs at the library...the library takes donations any time of year...just drop the books off at the library...this is a very good cause...teaches children about using the library.

Anyone have the dates? I googled it without success. I’m not in Brandon but like to come to the book sale.  
 
And I would agree that they would have to destroy books at some points as there are many that no one is interested in - the very reason that so many books are donated.
