I am sure it's not just me who's noticed it. The other day I went by rhw skate park on princess and noticed some kids had been spray painting across the wonderful mural some talented artists have been making.  
 
Complaints about fixi g the skate park. Ungrateful sons of guns. Those kids don't know how good they've got it. A place they can skate for free. One the boards their parents buy for them. Buying soda and chips with their allowance. And then go spray paint over the mural. If I knew which kid that was I'd probably go and tell them about what kind of park I had to skate on as a kid. It's called a sidewalk. And park benches. Or go and build one.  
 
If those kids had a decent head on their shoulders they'd go lobby city hall, talk to the neighborhood renewal team, or start fundraising on their own. But given their display and disrespectful nature. I'd say they've got pea sized brains.

You do realize that park is basically in downtown brandon and greasy human beings hang out there all the time right?  
 
You can't just say its the kids who use the skate park that are vandalizing it. It could be drunk 17 year olds or high 30 year olds or any age or mind state who are doing this damage.

Suckie is on point I would give it a 40% chance it was actually a kid from the skate park and a 25% chance it was actually a kid that frequents that skate park more than once a week. More then likely it was one of the so called taggers. Also kids dont always know better when I was a kid I did alot of dumb shit and now I shake my head and wish I could change it. But none the less the day they talked about building that park I was a teen and I said that's a dumb place to put it. Down town with all the drunk rubby people, I do get they want it in a central place where these kids could access it easy but there was way better spots then that lol they should have put it where Robin's donuts is now right across from the police station Haha just my thought though

Downtown Brandon has these stigmas because of people refusing to see it for the beauty it holds. Rubby people, and whatever... Those are real people.  
 
Either way, I'm glad to say that the mural has been fixed. And seemed to have been over night. So, cheers to downtown. I can't say much about the state of the park.  
 
But honestly, why would anyone have any doubt about the tagging being from anyone other than someone using the park? Who else would have any type of concern over what state the park was in? When I said kids, I meant at heart. Clearly none of us are using the park for skateboarding, but I enjoy the way they've outlined the drops and bowls into historic segments of the old hotel that used to stand there. It reminds us of the cities history.
