    Okay... I’m starting this thread. Please post when you know an outdoor rink is open and ready for use. My son is EXCITED to get out there and play those community hockey games. He looks forward to it every year.

    Yes many kids are jumping to get out their and play hockey or just skating. But the truth is that so many of the rinks need help getting the ice in and so hard getting the volunteers to help. My dad did it for years and was at the rink 35-40 a week he finically had to stop because no other help was coming in. So people if you or your kids love the rinks please sign up too help

    Did notice a note earlier this week about someone in town flooding their personal private rink, so people are starting to think that way. Looking forward to getting kiddo out too... didn’t manage to make it even once last year!  
     
    FWIW it looks like they’re calling for temps to get back above freezing by Tuesday so might be a bit of a wait yet for reliable winter weather.
