Do people not realize when they don't roll their coins honestly they are ripping off the next person?  
 
They aren't hurting the BANK: they aren't shorting the BANK.  
 
They are hurting PEOPLE. like me and many others who get rolls of coins.  
 
Banks don't re roll the coins you hand in.  
 
I am so tired of finding Mexican coins: or various other coins in the Canadian coin rolls I get from the bank.  
 
One roll of Nickels was over half!! Mexican pesos! Can't tell me that wasn't intentional.  
 
Then there is the shortage at least 3 quarters in a roll. Again taking from the next person NOT the bank.  
 
SO how about some HONESTY. I have patience for some errors in counting but this is beyond that.  
 
I do say I don't mind USA money at least it is something I can still use.  
 
Ends my rant of today.

If the bank gave you a shorted roll, it's up to them to make it right.

Want to thank the person who allowed me the benefit of receiving your Cuba coins instead of Canadian coins.  
 
Though if you can afford a vacation to Cuba you would think you could afford honesty.

Probably because people are dishonest.  
 
It means another trip to the bank.  
 
Why, why do people try and get away with these things.

The UK uses transparent bags that are weighed by the bank, each denomination has a specific weight, any discrepancy means the bag is emptied and counted. End of problem and much easier than rolls and reusable as well.

You got currency, I used to work at a credit union. I got numerous rolls full of washers.  
 
Most tellers do know enough to have a roll of control coins to have a quick gauge of length, but yes, they do slip through the cracks.  
 
I agree with your rant though, it screws everyone when you try to do that. The teller who might have their float off and get a written warning, the person who gets short changed, and the banks ultimately up their rates to cover this theft, so everyone loses.
