Kemnay: What School?

Hi there. For those of you who live in Kemnay what school do your children go to? Is there a designated school or do parents get to choose? Are they bused there? My children would be ages 9 and 5. Thanks in advance!

There are a number of Kemnay & area kiddos that go to school in Alexander as well. School of choice scenario I believe, but the Brandon bus does a pick-up in Kemnay on its way to Alexander.

I believe your choices are Earl Oxford or Alexander.

Brandon school Division does not bus to all schools so just because a certain school is closer it’s not necessarily your catchment. Pretty sure that area goes to Earl Oxford

We live in Kemnay and have done school of choice so we are responsible for getting our son to and from school daily and pay for him to stay at school for lunch. But if you have special circumstances the school board may make exceptions. I have been trying to convenience them that at bus going to Crocus could make a pit stop at my sons school which is 2 blocks of Richmond but usually end up with a nasty email about how his school is not a bus school.
