I was wondering if anyone has fished on the river and could tel
Me if it’s safe to do so. Also how thick was the ice where they fished.

Going on a limb here and thinking it's still a little thin. Lakes I am hearing are around the 11 inches and people driving but we are talking moving water.

I watched a video today of kids skating and parents set up ice tent for fishin. They where are the sport plex didn’t hear about thickness but they looked safe

In the paper last year a guy was pulling out master angler sturgeon from ice fishing the river. It’s here in my backyard. I thought i would give it a shot. Winters long and boring. Just want some one to confirm the thickness

In the video the guy speaks about the ice being 10” thick. And yes their are lots of guys that fish the river in different spot all winter
