I noticed that Princess Ave, at 6th st that was paved this summer is starting to fall apart the same way 18th street did a few years back and had to be replaced the next season. Also noticed Richmond Ave by the mall is starting to do the same thing. Did the paving company have some bad mix and it’s falling apart again. Hope tax payers don’t have to foot the bill to redo it.

Hard to say. Altho the city has there specs on what they want for a mix. So if the paving company met those specs it wouldn't be on them. Where did you notice it on the edge by concrete or middle of lanes?

The tire tracks are the worst areas .

Paving company's that just donshit work and do not care about doing the job right..shooty work that we as tax payers all have to pay for.in the end.lmao

How do you know they dont care? Are you an ex disgruntled employee? Lol

There are some really gnarly area's on the main streets. Turning right from 18th to Rosser will send out your alignment. Lol

After a dry summer, I think these road crews pushed their luck too far. The fall got wet & cold fast and came early in October/November. I think some of these projects just got dragged out too long, then they've slapped whatever down for the winter. I suspect that they all are knowing it''s going to need a resurfacing for next year. Half-a$$ed done is better than incomplete. ...It guarantees that they get paid in full this year.

They put the road back to together way out of season. It makes me wonder if they packed the gravel and clay base properly before paving. It could still be settling.

I know nothing about this line of work but one has to wonder, with how quickly roads were stripped and repaved and depending on which company was contracted out, could that be playing a role in why things don’t seem to last?  
 
We had our road repaved in the summer of 2017 and it’s still holding up. Mind you it isn’t heavy traffic like princess.
