In a nutshell, I've had (and been keeping active) a learners stage licence since 2012. It wasn't supposed to be such a long term thing, but life happens, and I wasn't getting as much time behind the wheel as I would have liked. Not that I don't know the overall basics. I've driven in all contexts, including highway and in Winnipeg.  
 
I just don't feel confident enough to step into a road test situation. Which has been the mountain for a long time. However, I think that this is the year to put that to rest once and for all.  
 
And as such, I am here. I know of a few options, having done some searching. I'm more curious about which ones people would recommend, have used, etc.
