I think this is something that I am interested in doing, however the only info I can seem to find is for changing last manes (marriage/divorce)  
Can anyone provide me any information or a like I can check out? Thanks!!!!

All the info is here. Apparently you now need to be fingerprinted but they are destroyed if you’ve been good. The fee is not $600, $120 approx. with add ones if you need new birth/marriage certificates.  
 
It looks like it is just for marriage/divorce but I’m pretty sure you can make any change you want as long as it is not for illegal purposes.

As mentioned, it's a lengthy and expensive process, but it can be done.  
 
My sister changed her last name prior to marriage to match that of our stepdad.  
 
I have friends who have transitioned and have had their first names changed.  
 
You are given the option to do both. Although, you do have to give the reason for the name change, to prevent people from doing it on a whim/for a joke, I suppose.

I changed my last name and my children's through Vital Statistics. Not difficult not expensive. Go for it!

I did it it with online forms I printed off from vital statistics. It is not at all lengthy, it took me 10 minutes and cost me $118 at the time.
