There is a difference - though it's still not a big deal - between a delivery driver spending 5 minutes in your driveway and your neighbors guest being parked in there for an evening party, or whatever. Either way, the idea that you would feel disrespected is a bit much. It's a driveway, whether you shoveled or not is great, way to go, but you make it a much bigger deal by being this upset about it.
The only person being disrespectful about this is you, frankly. Going on eBrandon and calling your neighbor lazy and contemplating police action against a delivery driver is really overkill. You say you've talked to your neighbor about it, and I'm not ready to call you a liar, that would be deeply inappropriate, but I wonder if you actually have, and I certainly question how you did it if this topic is any indication of how you communicate with people.
We are one big community John, so your neighbor used/uses your driveway, a delivery guy parked in it for all of 5 minutes, big deal. Consider it an act of kindness that your driveway has been able to accommodate someone. Don't lash out and demand respect, because you think you're king of the neighborhood.
We've all got lives to live, and you are - without intention - making someone's a little easier by providing a safe place to park their car - for however brief. Don't get upset by that, embrace it.
Way to go John, you have been doing a random act of kindness and you didn't even know it! Three cheers for John and John's driveway! "
So.... I am so kind I keep the entire 50 feet of sidewalk shoveled for all people and despite the fact that in front of my gate to the house is shovelled and also cleared for a car to park there people still insist on using/blocking my driveway? Holy crap! I already know I am kind and do RAKs every day when out. Thanks anyway!
And sorry but if there are people who don't shovel and you have to climb up on two feet of snow to access their front door, they're lazy! Fact!
Thanks for the typical 's^&t on the poster answer
Have a great day!
