Shoe Repair

Does anyone in town do shoe repair. What I need is where my little toe on the side is, the seam has let go there. Waste to throw out the shoe. Even thinking of something like Gorilla glue or similar.

Call to check his hours. My dog chewed a new pair of NAOT shoes and he was able to repair them. There is not without difference between the shoes. It was several months to get them repaired but there was a lot of items waiting to be fixed. Regardless, I was happy with the quality and price of his work.

Great guy, reasonably priced, gave him my boots for a complete resole and he had them back to me within a month, perfectly matching soles and polished brighter than when they were new.

I actually cannot get a wide shoe than 6E lol. I took my leather runners there and he was able to sew the stitch back together for a whopping 9 dollars. Better than $100 for another pair.

Footwear repair is sadly a dying profession, but one that requires skill and experience. I believe Union Shoe Store on Rosser Avenue is the last shoemaker in town that will fix or repair.

I took a pair of boots to Union to have them stretched. His suggestion. Rubbing on little toe. They were in a pile all winter and when I went to get them in spring, he dug them out, charged me $5, and they’d never been touched. If you’re in Wpg, nice repair store on Corydon, east of Kenaston. quick and fair. Replaced heels on my wife’s boots in an afternoon cause we were from out of town.
