Cheezies said "Just wanted to give 2 local businesses a shout-out and Thank-you so much!
My brother is completely bound to a wheelchair and has Daughters on Call help him with day to day needs. Last night he fell ill and the worker he had with him realized he needed to get to a hospital. She got him to the hospital via ambulance and helped get him treated. In the meantime another worker came, Gloria, and took over. She stayed with him till he was treated and ready to go home, and came home with him and got him settled in bed.
They released him just after 1am. There is no handi transit in Brandon at that time of day. They contacted 4-way taxi for handi-Van, but it too does not usually run at that hour.
But 4-way made sure to help us out. They got the vehicle ready and had to find a driver capable of that vehicle, and they did within half an hour.
The driver was absolutely amazing ( I wish I would have got his name). He not only got my brother home but also got him up to the 3rd floor and made sure all was well before he left.
So thank-you so much 4-way taxi and Daughters on call for going above and beyond for us. Brandon is very lucky for having these caring businesses in our community. "
Super nice to read this post! Hope you’re brothers feeling better and continues to receive the support he did from the two workers.
Great job to 4 way and their obviously compassionate employee!
