Isn't it amazing that the city of Brandon as big as it is cannot build a spray park like the one shown in RM of Pipestone.

Sometimes you find really great places in the rural areas, nice to see this new attraction to rural Manitoba.  
Two of my children, with spouses and grandchildren have visited this site and have nothing but great reviews about it.  
This is just my opinion, but Brandon missed it opportunity way back in the late 70’s, when it seems that the decision was made for very little development in anything but residential and commercial projects, once again just my opinion.

subdivision originally had plans for a nice man-made lake, but has ended up being just pond with cat-tails all around. It's just one of these items we want, but not in my backyard.  
 
There's no reason why it can't be done, just that residents just want the city to do it, then complain about the cost. RM of Pipestone residents likely also did community fundraising and got corporate sponsors to help build it. Same with Souris, Wawanesa and other communities with these nice outdoor recreation facilities.
