Congratulations to all the amazing people who have put their positive good energy into this amazing festival over the years..!! It started as a small festival at BU and turned into a 3 day honourable event highlighted on all the Canadian Folk Festival tour dates... for 30 years this festival shined in a little treed area at the keystone! I speak for the 500+ brandonites who put their heart and soul into this festival for 30 years it's heartbreaking to see it the way it is but please keep it going in some capacity to honour those who put so much work and love into it

It's quite the accomplishment to reach 35 years! Unfortunately I will never go to their festival until there's a change in the board. The festival just isn't like it used to be..

So, I assume you’re referring to the Brandon Folk Festival.  
 
The Brandon Sun coverage over the last few years have taken the shine off of it for me.  
 
Too bad that personalities have taken priority over principles.

If the organizers didn’t treat the volunteers like garbage then they wouldn’t need to plea to Brandon Sun every year to write a column about budget shortfalls and lack of volunteers
