I do not mind shoveling the light fluffy snow. This stuff is heavy and wet. People my age can suffer heart attacks if not careful.  
 
I fought my sidewalk and some city tonight and it is also deeper than I thought. For some that think your neighbor has it easy with a snowblower those things also are a work out. Thank your neighbor if he does your city walk or some of yours. While I think shovels: make sure your car has a small one or a road emergency kit home made or not. Charge your cell phone before galavanting .  
 
There may be some stuck cars so help if you can.  
 
Winter is here to stay?? No clue but this blast is too early.  
 
This stuff is why they changed the name global warming to climate change. Which makes sense, the weather has been changing since the ice age at least.
