Anyone know about a surveyor that is going door to door that wants to discuss your finances?

Never, Never let anyone in; or listen to anyone going door to door no matter who they are.  
 
Legitimate companies including charities don't go door to door anymore. There may be charity exceptions but how do you know for sure?  
 
Best policy is to just say no thank you; or don't even answer the door. Don't take the chance it isn't worth it.  
 
Calling the non-emergency police line after they come to your door is a good idea as well so they can check it out.  
 
This goes for the phone as well; when you answer if there is no sound at first hang up as it is a scam; any phone call asking or saying anything just hang up.  
 
This also goes for emails just delete; never answer and never click on anything in the email. Report as spam.  
 
Better to be careful and safe.

Statistics Canada is currently interviewing select people for their Labour Force Survey.

The Labour Force Survey is a monthly survey which measures the current state of the Canadian labour market and is used, among other things, to calculate the national, provincial, territorial and regional employment and unemployment rates. The survey results are used to make important decisions regarding job creation, education and training, retirement pensions and income support.  
 
Your information may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.
