Witness to parked car being hit by University

My daughters parked car was hit by the University while she was in class on Thursday January 9th. Her car is a black Chevy sonic and it was hit on the drivers side at the back. The person left a note saying they hit her car at 1200 and left a drivers license number but unfortunately MPI can’t match the number. If anyone witnessed this and could provide any information it would be much appreciated!
