Electric is expensive and unreliable but circulates the air and holds the humidity well. I have an electronic humidifier and boveda packs in a 400 count cooled only, bought on a scratch and dent sale. Wish I had a heated/cooled but too pricey. Want simple and low maintenance go with a air tight food storage container like a Sistema and Spanish cedar tray or something big enough to fit a cigar box and a 60 gm 2 way humidity control boveda pack. My wood humidors have difficulty keeping humidity and dry out easily in the winter.
