Well 2 days of news of doom and gloom can get to any body pretty quick and bring a person down. Panic buying, price gouging, uncertainty of what’s going to happen next? Where is our Superman/Woman to ride in and sweep all this away? There’s always been a silver lining to a black cloud so what’s it going to be this time? I’ve really been thinking hard about this one. Interested in hearing what you think is going to pull out of this one? Something always does.

Well, I have seen some pretty funny memes. Although that could just be my sick nurses sense of humour that makes me think they're funny.  
 
There are some really heart warming examples of people looking out for others. For example, the basket ball player (who is only 19 years old) paying the salaries for all the workers at the arena for the next 30 days while the NBA is not playing.

It will give us all a chance to pause and take a breath, remember what and who is important to us. Maybe we will all come out of this with more respect and compassion for our fellow human beings. Maybe it will be a better world in the end. I believe it’s Mother Nature’s way of saying enough is enough.

There are thousands who have recovered. That you don't hear from the media.

Would be interesting to hear from people who have recovered from this virus. To know what they went through and how they coped with their situation? Maybe if could help others who may have to deal with it.

Hey me too. I won 3 numbers on 649 and an Extra...$12! Also, I did see a bunch of tissue papers at Safeway and they were restocking TP. Didn't need any though but know there are lots to go around.

Saw my first motorcycle of the season this past week!

Big thank you to all the staff working retail, form the people who do the ordering, the ones who stock the shelves and then the cashiers! This past week has been extremely busy for all the workers and must have been stressful but we appreciate all your hard work for sure! I hope for this week to be better for all, workers and shoppers!

You have to have a dark sense of humour to make it in the nursing biz. Otherwise, you'll get eaten alive.

Gone out of my way to thank the people who work in service industries this past week.  
 
I over heard some people being completely awful to staff members at our local Safeway when I went Friday night, so I made a point to say to some of them (while the ignorant people were in earshot) about how appreciative I was of their hard work. They really are doing their best.  
 
Here's something to give you guys something different to groan about - this past weekend it was so cold where I live (-2 but windchill was about -10c) it was the first time I turned on my bedroom heaters this winter. I will stand back and let you throw tomatoes at me now.... LOL

Well I'll be moving my clothes into your closet, when you are not looking.  
So will leave me tomatoes at home.  
Made me split a gut. cute.
